If you are an Android user and have a Drone from DJI, you may run into this problem once in a while.
Since a few years, all the DJI apps can only be downloaded via APK from the DJI website.
This is no Problem, if you don’t mind the installation via APK and if you have a new phone from one of five brands and don’t update anything.
If you have a phone that’s older than two years, like to update to new android versions when they are released or use a device that’s not extremely well known, the DJY apps will break at some point in time, and there is no option to fix it or know if your device is compatible.
I own a OnePlus 9Pro with LineageOS21 installed (A14) and it worked for two months. After an Update to the DJY fly app and my system, support has been dropped and there is no way to open DJY Fly. There is no fix from Luckypathcher or any other program.
The only options are:
- DJY Fixing ther f***ing app
- Buying their expensive controller
- Buying an expensive phone
- Use other apps like Lichi or Rainbow (There are free apks for the pro variants)
Or you can just sell your drone and switch to another brand.
